By accessing or using Concept Studio AI | School Edition, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the platform.
Sister Sites & Shared Ownership
Concept Studio AI | School Edition is a sister site of Concept Studio AI. Both platforms are owned and operated by Excel Sportswear, a Pennsylvania-based custom apparel company serving schools, teams, and organizations since 1982.
Your use of either site is governed by Excel Sportswear. Account information, uploaded references, generated concepts, and order inquiries may be shared across the same company to provide design services, fulfill quotes, and complete apparel orders.
Purpose of the Platform
Concept Studio AI | School Edition exists to help school groups, departments, teams, clubs, and organizations explore custom apparel concepts. Users can enter school and department information, select or upload mascots, add logos, titles, and taglines, choose school colors, and generate AI-assisted concepts for shirts, hoodies, long sleeves, and other spirit wear.
Concept Studio AI | School Edition is a creative planning and visualization tool. Generated concepts are not final artwork and are not a promise of production-ready deliverables.
AI-Generated Concepts
Concepts generated through the platform are AI-assisted, preliminary, experimental, and not guaranteed to be accurate or production-ready.
Generated concepts may contain incorrect details, missing elements, distorted logos, misspellings, technical inaccuracies, design flaws, or copyright concerns created by user inputs. Users are responsible for reviewing generated concepts.
Excel Sportswear makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, usability, or fitness of generated concepts for any particular school, team, or use case.
Human Creative Review
Concept Studio AI | School Edition is designed to accelerate creative exploration. Final production artwork is reviewed, refined, and enhanced by human artists in Excel Sportswear's in-house art team in Trafford, Pennsylvania. Technology assists the process. Human creativity completes it.
User Uploaded References
By uploading any school logo, mascot, trademark, photograph, artwork, vehicle image, building image, product image, character image, or other reference material, you represent and warrant that you own the content or possess sufficient rights and permissions to authorize its use.
You grant Excel Sportswear a non-exclusive, worldwide license to analyze, store, modify, redraw, trace, stylize, and generate derivative concepts from the uploaded content for the purpose of concept generation, school spirit wear design, and related apparel services.
This license exists solely to provide Concept Studio AI | School Edition functionality and related design services.
Intellectual Property
Generated Concepts
All concepts, prompts, compositions, layouts, generated artwork, design directions, derivative works, mascot variations, and creative outputs generated through Concept Studio AI | School Edition remain the intellectual property of Excel Sportswear unless otherwise transferred through a separate written agreement.
Use of the platform does not transfer ownership rights to users.
Permitted Use
Users may view generated concepts, share them internally, discuss them, use them during the school apparel purchasing process, and share them with decision makers at their school or organization.
Prohibited Use
Without written authorization from Excel Sportswear, users may not:
- Sell generated concepts
- License generated concepts
- Reproduce generated concepts commercially
- Print generated concepts on products
- Use generated concepts for merchandise production
- Claim authorship of generated concepts
- Remove ownership notices
- Resell generated concepts
Prohibited Content
Users may not upload content that violates intellectual property rights or applicable law, contains unlawful material or malicious code, promotes violence, hate, or illegal activity, or violates the usage policies of OpenAI, Google, or any third-party AI provider used by the platform.
Limitation of Liability
Concept Studio AI | School Edition is provided "as is" and "as available." Excel Sportswear is not liable for loss of business, lost profits, indirect damages, reliance on generated concepts, design inaccuracies, or user misuse of generated content.
Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid to Excel Sportswear for use of the platform.
Modifications
Excel Sportswear reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
